Terence Bowman

Terence Bowman has been acting professionally since 1990. He comes from a very strong sketch and improv comedy background. Most notably, Terence was a member of Montreal’s now legendary sketch comedy troupe The Vestibules and also of Montreal’s Award-winning and longest-running improv troupe, On The Spot.  He has made 11 appearances at the Just For Laughs Festival and has performed around the world including shows in London, Los Angeles, New York and at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Terence studied theatre at the John Abbott College Theatre Workshop Program. He also studied the Meisner Technique with renowned Canadian acting teacher, Jacqueline McClintock.

His stage work includes Hamlet, Godspell, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and the cult hit Star Trek: On Stage.  He also wrote and starred in multiple different one-man shows at The Montreal Fringe Festival.

His on-screen acting career goes all the way back to the earliest days of the heady Montreal film and TV production boom of the 90’s. He appeared in such memorable shows as Are You Afraid of the Dark? Lassie, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, Radio Active and had a recurring role on Big Wolf on Campus.

His feature film work includes No Good Deed with Samuel L. Jackson and The Sum of All Fears with Ben Affleck. Terence has also lent his voice to an innumerable amount of radio commercials and animated series.

Terence continues to be active in film and TV roles. Recent appearances include roles on 19-2, Inheriting Trouble and a recurring role on the final season of Blue Mountain State.

Terence also spends a lot of his time lately acting in training simulations as well as teaching acting (along with sketch and improv comedy) at the Montreal School of Performing Arts.
